We are thrilled to welcome you back for a three-day celebration of creativity, featuring 200+ world-class artists & makers traveling from every corner of the country to showcase their craft. Whether you are looking to curate your living space or your wardrobe, you’ll find an unparalleled selection of handmade home decor, museum-quality sculpture, avant-garde fashion, shimmering jewelry, fine art, and functional ceramics.

WHERE: National Building Museum, 401 F St NW, Washington, DC 20001 

WHAT: The Smithsonian Craft Show is the country's premier showcase for the finest in hand-crafted, American artisanal works. This year's theme celebrates our artists' vision of what might be as they give raw materials new life. A highlight fo the 2025 Craft Show will be the presentation of the Smithsonian Visionary Award to multi-media artist Nick Cave.

COST: $25. per person.  $20. per person for groups of 10 or more and students.

Join us for three days of festivities celebrating all things handmade! More than 650 top contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, and home décor artists from across the country will gather under one roof. It’s your chance to touch, feel, and explore high-quality American craft and meet the makers behind the fabulous work. This is the American Craft Council’s flagship show – a must-attend for craft lovers.

Plus, meet the country’s top emerging artists! Stop by our Hip Pop pods dotting the show floor to see their contemporary pieces, ranging from sophisticated elegance to cutting edge. Look for the pink and black Hip Pop logo to locate these fresh finds.
